Start Test

 Instructions

1. The Good Corporate Citizenship Assessment Model allows you to assess your organisation's progress on sustainable development.  The test is divided into six sections:

  • Travel
  • Procurement
  • Facilities management
  • Workforce
  • Community engagement
  • Buildings

2. In each section you can score your organisation on a range of questions to see how it is progressing on sustainable development.

Each question has three levels:

  • Getting started – scores 0, 1, 2, 3
  • Getting there – scores 4, 5, 6
  • Excellent – scores 7, 8, 9

3. Give your organisation a score by ticking one box for each question (0-9).  All of one level must be implemented before moving on to the next level.

Getting started

0 = not started yet

1 = some implemented

2 = most implemented

3 = all implemented

 Getting there

4 = some implemented

5 = most implemented

6 = all implemented

 Excellent

7 = some implemented

8 = most implemented

9 = all implemented

4. You can do the test is sections - click "Pause and Save" at any time to save your scores and return to the test later.

5. You need to complete all sections of the test before clicking "Finish" to view your results.

What do I do if a question doesn't apply to my organisation?

If a question is not applicable to your organisation, you can click the n/a box. The final scores are calculated as a percentage, taking n/a scores into account.

Please note, however, that you must complete at least 5 of the 6 of questions in each section in order for your test to be valid.

How do I decide on my score?

Honesty is the best policy! For the test to be meaningful, be completely honest about your organisation’s current practice.

The idea of the test is to help you understand your organisation’s current performance and give you ideas to help you progress.

What happens when I have finished the test?

When you have finished the test, click "Finish". You can then view a graph of your results.

You can compare your results with your previous scores and with average national and regional scores for other organisations.

You can also compare your results with guidance on what organisations should be aiming to achieve by 2012, 2015 and 2020.

Can I see the results of other individual organisations?

If you opted to share your results when you registered, you will have the option to compare your results with other organisations who have also shared their results.
